We're looking for you! (Yes, you!)
Are you interested in tackling a real problem in our city? Would you like to help people with disabilities enjoy their leisure time without worrying about a lack of restrooms? Then you've come to the right place!
We are founding the association "Wheelchair Accessible in the City of Werne" and are looking for committed Board members and energetic members to work with us to make Werne's Restaurant scene more accessible.
What we want to achieve:
🚽 More accessible restrooms for Werne! – Because we believe everyone should have the right to move freely around the city without having to first develop a "restroom strategy."
🍽️ Get restaurateurs on board! – We want to motivate Werne's restaurants to install wheelchair-accessible restrooms and offer them support.
💰 Financial support for restaurateurs – Our association is collecting donations to help restaurateurs with renovation costs and thus implement accessibility more quickly and effectively.
🎉 Live inclusion! – Our City should become a model example of practical accessibility.
Who we are looking for:
Board members (volunteers) who are willing to take on responsibility, build contacts, and work with us to inspire restaurateurs for the project.
Members who support us in public relations, networking, and events.
People with a sense of humor, heart, and drive!
